Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology, the largest university in the Kumasi metropolis and in the Ashanti region.
The university was set to conduct its end of semester exams but it was halted due to the decision of the University Teachers Association (UTAG) to embark on an industrial strike.
Due to the industrial strike, the university’s examination was suspended indefinitely.
After negotiation between government and the leadership of UTAG, they have called of the strike and ready to go back to the classroom.
In a letter released by the University’s Executive Committee and signed by its secretary, Mrs Margaret Dzisi stated that the committee had a meeting and agreed on a revised arrangement for the end of semester examination.
In the release, August 25 – 31, 2021 set aside as revision week and September 01 – 17, 2021 as exams period.
The students are advised to visit the various notice boards at the Departments/Faculties/Colleges for their respective time-table.
The release entreated students and staff of the university to take note of the arrangement and prepare accordingly.
